Julie and Jae's story, as told by their lovely photographer Lyndsay London!
"Julie & Jae first met in 2003 volunteering at a conference. They were both volunteering in the band – Jae was on the drums and Julie was one of the singers. Like so many love stories, they didn’t get to know each other all that well at that time. However, fast forward to 2006, when Julie was in her second year at UBC and Jae was at music school in LA. On a whim, Julie decided to volunteer again for the same conference from 2003, and guess who she met in the band again?? Jae! This time they became much closer friends during the three day conference.
Later that spring Jae had plans to go to Japan for a few months. As fate would have it, Julie and one of her friends also had booked a trip to Japan at the same time! So, it’s a no brainer that they decided to meet up in Japan. They travelled together and eventually started dating."

During your engagement, your relationship with your fiance is probably crowded with big things: plans to buy a house, the buzz of wedding planning, and so much more. But, when you and your fiance start your life as husband and wife and settle into a daily routine, your relationship can start to feel mundane if you lose focus on what really matters…the little things.
